Designed for current RNs, Benedictine University’s online Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) offers you an affordable and flexible way to advance your career and improve patient outcomes. Accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), the program offers two concentrations, nurse executive leader and nurse educator, a Dual MSN/MBA degree, and there is no residency associated with the curriculum.

Your Concentration Options
  1. Nurse Executive Leader: Gain the leadership skills needed to obtain a managerial or high-level administrative position. You’ll explore financial, operational, regulatory and clinical aspects of health system management.

    This track prepares you for the Nurse Executive, Advanced (NEA-BC) exam.

  2. Nurse Educator: Help educate the next generation of nurse leaders, and their patients, on quality control practices and emerging healthcare trends, as well as develop a mastery in nursing’s 3Ps — pharmacology, pathophysiology and health assessment.

    This track prepares you for the National League of Nursing’s Certified Nurse Educator (CNE) examination.

Dual Degree Option
A dual-degree option is also available should you wish to earn an MBA in tandem with the online MSN program — save $12,100, 10 months, and graduate with two master’s degrees.
